'Smart City Games' Meet Little Players

The Smart City Academy, run by the Smart Urbanism Branch Directorate of the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Information Processing Department, hosted a special event on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

Within the scope of the 'Code16 Game Developer Training Program', digital games themed around Smart City prepared by young software developers were tested with real users for the first time in a special event. While children had a fun and educational experience with technology, developers also had the opportunity to collect feedback on their projects. Within the scope of the event, children discovered themes such as smart transportation, environmental awareness, and sustainable energy through gamified experiences. Developers had the opportunity to conduct early testing processes by offering their products directly to the target user. Bursa Metropolitan Municipality aims to support the development of young talents and increase children's interest in technology and contribute to the cities of the future at an early age through this event.

Smart City Academy will continue to introduce Bursa residents of all ages to the vision of smart urbanism in the coming period.
