Crytek's atmospheric PvE and PvP horror shooter Hunt Showdown 1896 continues to expand its player base. The game, which was recently added to the PC Game Pass library and offered free access to PC players, is now increasing its excitement with a brand new downloadable content (DLC): The Last of the Hero.
With the special event “Garden of the Witch” in full swing, Crytek is enriching the Hunt Showdown universe by offering players a new hunter and his special equipment. Introduced as a “guardian of the plains,” this new Hunter draws attention with his Native American theme and brings with him a special weapon called Herdthitter, a bison knife, and a unique ability known as the thunderbird’s cry.
A New Breath Among Hunters Inspired by Real Life
The hunter characters in Hunt Showdown are often inspired by real-life figures or public figures. However, this time, the “Last of The Hero” DLC stands out with its Native American theme, which perfectly fits the game’s dark and mystical atmosphere of 1896. This choice aims to provide players with a new experience by adding a different cultural layer to Hunt Showdown’s unique world.
“Last of The Hero” is Now on All Platforms
The “Last of The Hero” DLC for Hunt Showdown 1896 is now available on PC, as well as Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X/S consoles. This means that a large portion of the Hunt Showdown community will be able to experience this new hunter and his special equipment. With this new DLC, players will be able to join the survival struggles in the hunting arena with a different character and develop new tactics.
