The area, which was acquired without any cost and opened to the public as Durugöl Nature Park with the initiatives of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler, is expanding. The Metropolitan Municipality teams are preparing the area extending behind the lake as a new living space that will also include medicinal and aromatic plants.
The teams continue their work in the area prepared under the name of Durugöl Kurtuluş Nature Park Medical Aromatic Park. The new area will further increase the appeal of Durugöl with the work to be done and will gain an appearance where citizens of all ages will come together and have a pleasant time in the upcoming summer season.
AROMATIC PLANTS WILL ALSO BE INCLUDED
The Metropolitan Municipality, which has undertaken works that have given Ordu a breath of fresh air with the parks it has established all around the city, is further expanding the works it has implemented on a 36-acre land in Durugöl.

In this context, the teams are rapidly implementing works that will increase the appeal of Durugöl with a children's playground, skate park playground, aromatic plants area, 5 coops for poultry animals, parking lot, buffet, millet barn, serender, sitting and green areas.
METROPOLITAN SIGNING CONTINUES IN ORDU
Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, under the leadership of Mayor Güler, had established the Durugöl Nature Park in the Durugöl Neighborhood of Altınordu district in the past years on a 36-acre area. Again under the leadership of Mayor Güler, in the past 6 years, the Altınordu Ihlamur Valley Park, Erguvan Park, Cumhuriyet Barrier-Free Park, Melet Otağ Park, Büyük Melet Project 1 and 2, Tayfun Gürsoy Park and Gülyalı Turnasuyu Kordon Park works were completed and opened to the service of the citizens. The number of these areas where citizens can spend long hours with pleasure continues to increase.
