A heartbreaking incident took place in the Gemlik district of Bursa. Citizens walking along the Gemlik coast came across 5 kittens that had been stabbed to death by an unidentified person or persons.
After the incident was reported, the authorities came to the region and took the lifeless bodies of the unfortunate animals and buried them in a suitable place. After this sad news was heard, there were also harsh reactions from political parties.
Condemnation from Political Parties
The Gemlik District Chairwoman of the Zafer Party, Nilüfer Toprakçı, described the incident as “inhumane savagery.” Toprakçı said, “It has made the heart of every compassionate individual ache. These murderers who killed our silent friends pose a threat not only to animals but to all of humanity. I demand that the perpetrators be found and punished as soon as possible.”
The IYI Party Gemlik District Presidency also made a written statement, strongly condemning the incident and demanding that the perpetrators be found and punished as soon as possible.
