A fire broke out in containers used as dormitories in the İsmet İnönü Neighborhood of the İskenderun district of Hatay this morning (April 13, 2025). The flames, which started for an unknown reason, quickly grew and engulfed the containers. Fire crews were quickly dispatched to the scene upon notification of the incident.
Taken Under Control with Rapid Intervention
Thanks to the timely and effective intervention of the fire brigade teams, the fire was quickly brought under control and prevented from spreading to the surrounding area. A citizen who was slightly injured during the fire was given first aid by the medical teams present at the scene. It was learned that the injured person is in good health and that a detailed investigation into the cause of the fire has been initiated. With the completion of cooling efforts, the risk at the scene has been eliminated.
