Work on Ankara-Izmir High-Speed ​​Train Project is Progressing Rapidly

Construction work continues uninterruptedly on the Ankara-Izmir High Speed ​​Train (YHT) Project, which will connect Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, with Izmir in a comfortable and fast manner. The latest status of the project was examined on site by Eskişehir Governor Hüseyin Aksoy.

Governor Aksoy Visited the Construction Site

Governor Hüseyin Aksoy, who went to Günyüzü district as part of a series of inspection programs, examined various projects there and then visited the ongoing construction works of the Ankara-İzmir YHT line in the Kayakent neighborhood of Günyüzü district of Eskişehir. Governor Aksoy received detailed information from the authorities about this huge project carried out by the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey.

Transportation Between Ankara and Izmir Will Be Shortened

Stating that the completion of the Ankara-Izmir YHT line will significantly shorten the travel time between the two major cities, Governor Hüseyin Aksoy stated that passengers will be offered a much more comfortable travel opportunity. Emphasizing that the Governor's Office has provided all kinds of support for the smooth progress of the work in the region, Governor Aksoy stated that this support will continue and wished the employees all the best. It is expected that this high-speed train line between Ankara and Izmir will make significant contributions to the regional economy and social life when it is completed.
