
U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) welcomed the new light attack aircraft, the Skyraider II, to its operational fleet on April 3, 2025. The OA-1K Skyraider II, officially known as the OA-XNUMXK, joined AFSOC’s inventory with the delivery of its first mission-configured aircraft. The delivery was marked by a formal acceptance ceremony attended by representatives of U.S. Special Operations Command, AFSOC leadership, elected officials and community leaders.
