Transportation Will Become Easier with the Çayyolu-Sincan Metro Line in Ankara

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) is taking an important step in the capital’s rail system transportation. ABB continues its project work for the M2 line, which will connect the M3 Çayyolu and M6 Sincan lines. In line with the preliminary projects and feasibility reports approved by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, preparations are underway for the construction of this new line, which will be 12,5 kilometers long.

Advantages of M6 Line and Stations

The M6 line will further strengthen Ankara’s transportation network. The line is planned to have 5 stations: Ahimesut, Alsancak, Ahi Evran, Eryaman High Speed Train (YHT) Station and Şapka Devrimi. These new stations will connect the city’s busy transportation points, allowing residents of the capital to travel faster and more comfortably by public transportation.

Following the final approval of the project, construction work will begin and with the line entering service, Ankara's rail system transportation will expand even further. This development will make a major contribution to the capital's transportation infrastructure and enable citizens to access more efficient transportation options.
