Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the first trip of the Touristic Diyarbakır Express, which will be operated for tourism purposes between Ankara and Diyarbakır, will start on April 11. Minister Uraloğlu, who also provided information about the route of the touristic Diyarbakır Express, stated that the train will depart from Ankara at 13.55:3 and will make a 16.23-hour break in Malatya. Uraloğlu said, “During this time, passengers will be able to visit the historical and cultural areas of Malatya. The arrival time in Diyarbakır is planned as 12.30:4. On the return journey, our train, which will depart from Diyarbakır at 15.52:XNUMX, will make a XNUMX-hour stop at Yolçatı station in Elazığ. The estimated arrival time in Ankara will be XNUMX:XNUMX. Thus, passengers will have the opportunity to see the cultural texture of the region on site during the breaks given in Malatya and Yolçatı.”
