One of Türkiye’s important transportation projects, the GAZİRAY Project, is gaining value with DYO Boya’s innovative solutions. Implemented within the scope of the National Suburban Train Set Project and set to be Türkiye’s fourth largest suburban line after Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, GAZİRAY is receiving long-lasting protection with DYO’s EN 45545-2 certified paints, specially developed for rail systems and in compliance with high safety and durability standards. Safe and Modern Transportation with GAZİRAY
The GAZİRAY Project, the first set of which was delivered to the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, aims to provide a safe and modern travel experience to the people of the region. This project, in which 32 suburban train sets consisting of a total of 8 vehicles will be produced, will significantly ease the transportation network of the city. Each train set will operate at an operating speed of 90 kilometers per hour and will consist of four vehicles. Each of these sets is designed to carry a total of one thousand passengers, as well as a capacity of 206 seated passengers. GAZİRAY aims to increase urban mobility by creating a comfortable and fast transportation alternative for the region.
DYO Prioritizes Safety in Rail System Paints
DYO’s paint solutions developed for rail systems stand out not only for their durability, but also for their features that prioritize passenger safety. The EN 45545-2 certified paints used in the GAZİRAY Project provide a safe environment for passengers by providing high resistance in the event of a possible fire. This certificate documents that the materials used in rail systems meet fire safety requirements.
