Delice-Çorum High Speed Train Project on the Table
One of the issues Tahtasız particularly focused on is the Delice-Çorum high-speed train project, which is of vital importance for Çorum. The construction cost of the project, as well as the tenders that TCDD has carried out at high costs, will be discussed in detail at the meeting. Tahtasız demands transparency on whether public resources are being used effectively and efficiently for these projects.
“Honey Tenders” Are on the Agenda
MP Tahtasız described TCDD’s high-cost tenders as “honey tenders” and emphasized that these tenders should be examined in detail. Tahtasız, who stated that they will demand comprehensive information about TCDD’s expenses and tender processes as a member of the SEE Commission, stated that they will meticulously fulfill their auditing duties on behalf of the public. Detailed presentations are expected to be made about TCDD’s financial tables, project progress and tender processes at the meeting. Tahtasız’s statement is considered an important step in the proper use of public resources and transparency.
