The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that the body of Infantry Specialist Sergeant Nurettin Tokyürek, who was martyred on July 7, 2022 in the Claw-Lock Operation region, was found.
The official statement included the following statements:
“In the Operation Claw-Lock region, an operation was carried out against a cave used by members of the separatist terrorist organization. Martyred on July 7, 2022 and our heroic comrade-in-arms whose body could not be found despite all searches The beloved body of Infantry Specialist Sergeant Nurettin Tokyürek has been found. We wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr who lost his life in this incident that has filled us with deep pain and sorrow; we offer our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces and our noble nation.
This sad news has deeply saddened the family of our martyr, the Turkish Armed Forces and all of Türkiye. The precious memory of Martyr Infantry Specialist Sergeant Nurettin Tokyürek will always live on, may his soul rest in peace.
