Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) is hosting an important training organized by the Turkish Bicycle Federation, once again demonstrating the importance it places on the development of sports and athletes. Demetevler Youth Center and Library opened its doors to cycling enthusiasts and future coaches for the “2nd-3rd Level Basic Coach Training Course Application Training”.
Career Opportunity in Cycling: Coach Training Course
This comprehensive training program organized by the Turkish Bicycle Federation brings together 25 participants who are interested in cycling and aim to pursue a professional career in this field. Throughout the course, both theoretical information is conveyed and practical applications are developed with the help of expert and experienced trainers.
Federation Thanks ABB: “Like Our Home”
Mustafa Kocaman, the Chairman of the Turkish Bicycle Federation Mountain Bike and BMX Technical Board, expressed his satisfaction with the course being held at the Demetevler Youth Center and thanked the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality. Kocaman said, “We also held our Level 1 Coaching Course here last term. This is a place that makes us very happy. When we are going to provide coaching or development courses in Ankara, this is our home, our address. I would like to thank the Metropolitan Municipality for this. We can immediately deploy without worrying and say ‘yes, we can hold a course there.’” Kocaman also stated that participants who successfully pass the course can work as coaches in Provincial Directorates of Youth and Sports, municipalities, various public institutions and organizations, and non-governmental organizations.
Future Bicycle Trainers Are Being Raised in Demetevler
This intensive training program, which will continue until April 23 at the Demetevler Youth Center and Library, aims to train competent trainers in the cycling branch. During the course, participants will gain detailed information on many important topics such as the basic principles of cycling, training methods, sports physiology and psychology. In addition to theoretical lessons, they will also gain experience in training planning, athlete management and technical skill development through practical applications. This meaningful hosting by ABB makes a significant contribution to the development of cycling and the training of successful trainers of the future.
