Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Halit Doğan emphasized the importance of the festival and said, “Samsun is becoming the meeting point of the Turkish World. Children from many different countries will meet in Samsun and experience the excitement of April 23rd together. At this point, our Turkish World Children's Festival will contribute to our children from different geographies getting to know their cultural values, sharing them and establishing bonds of brotherhood beyond being an event. We brought the Turkish World together in our city again at the end of 2024. Following the 7th International Turkish World Science and Culture Festival, we are hosting a beautiful program in our city once again. We are experiencing the happiness of hosting such a beautiful event in our city on April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day, which was presented to all children of the world by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. I invite all our children and their families to our events.”
The Turkish World Children's Festival in Samsun goes beyond being just a holiday celebration and stands out as a meaningful event that will allow children from different cultures to come together, get to know each other and establish lasting friendships. This meeting will make a significant contribution to the strengthening of cultural ties between future generations and to world peace.
