Sakarya Hospitals Campus Multi-Storey Car Park Project Nears Completion

Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality is nearing the end of the Multi-Storey Car Park project, which was initiated to produce a permanent solution to the intense parking problem experienced around Sakarya Education and Research Hospital (SEAH), SEAH Maternity and Children's Hospital and Emergency Hospital. With the completion of the project, it is aimed to meet the parking needs in the region to a significant extent.

Works Completed at 85% Level

Work is progressing rapidly on the 4-vehicle capacity multi-storey car park project, built on a total area of 561 square metres, right next to the Hospitals Campus. It was stated that the project has reached 530% in its final stage. This progress increases hopes that the car park will be put into service in a short time.

Fine Workmanship Continues

It is seen that the project was planned in detail and implemented meticulously. While the steel roof and elevator steel tower manufacturing are completed, important infrastructure works such as electricity, water and fire installations are also nearing completion. In the upcoming process, it is planned to complete fine workmanship such as field concrete floor covering, roof insulation and vehicle and pedestrian directional sign paints.

Exterior Facade and Railing Manufacturing Will Be Completed

After the completion of the composite coating and safety measures on the exterior surface of the 530-vehicle modern car park, the car park will be offered to the use of patients receiving treatment in the hospital area and their companions. This development will significantly alleviate the parking problem, especially in the area where hospitals, pharmacies and other health institutions are concentrated.

President Alemdar: “We Will Relax Parking in the Health Campus”

Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yusuf Alemdar had recently touched upon the importance of the multi-storey car park project in a statement he made. Mayor Alemdar had emphasized the importance of the project for the region by saying, “We are providing a solution to the parking need in the health campus. We will ease parking on the hospital campus with the multi-storey car park with a capacity of 530 vehicles, which we are continuing to build. We are nearing completion. Hopefully, we will complete it and put it into service in a short time.” This investment by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality is considered an important step towards improving the quality of life of citizens by facilitating access to health services.
