The first fair organized by KFA Fair Organization at the renewed Bursa Fair Center (BFM), the Rising City Building and Living Fair, has opened its doors. The fair, which will host sector professionals until April 27, brought together approximately 40 companies operating in a wide range of sectors from housing to building technologies, from construction materials to architectural solutions.
Bursa Governor Erol Ayyıldız, BTSO Board Chairman İbrahim Burkay and Board Members, Büyük Birlik Partisi Deputy Chairman Ekrem Alfatlı, Bursa Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Naci Çağlar, İMSİAD Chairman Şeref Demir, academic chamber presidents and sector representatives attended the opening ceremony of the fair. The fair, which is organized with its new concept on an area of 5 thousand square meters, also hosts over 16 foreign buyers from 200 countries.
A New Beginning in BFM
Speaking at the opening of the fair, Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) Chairman of the Board of Directors İbrahim Burkay announced the good news that they have started a new era at Bursa Fair Center. Stating that KFA Fair Organization aims to organize more than 2025 international fairs at BFM every year starting from 20, Chairman Burkay said, “Today, we held the opening of our Rising City Construction and Life Fair together with our Governor. Fair organization is a strategic area that makes significant contributions to the economy. Especially cities that are production centers have the opportunity to deliver their products to world markets through fairs. These fairs that we have realized in Bursa have been events that have provided significant added value to both the city and the country’s economy.”
“We Will Bring World Buyers Together in Bursa”
Emphasizing that KFA Fair Organization has become one of the leading fair organization companies in Türkiye, President Burkay noted that they hosted the Bursa Caravan Show at BFM simultaneously with the Rising City Construction and Life Fair. President Burkay thanked BİFAŞ Fair Organization Board Chairman Ümit Vural and said, “We have very good cooperation with them here and this cooperation will not be limited to the Caravan Show. Hopefully, we will bring together buyers from all over the world with our Bursa companies here.”
President Burkay stated that they supported the Rising City Building and Living Fair with qualified purchasing delegations and wished the fair to be productive for both participants and visitors.
Bursa Becomes “City of Fairs”
Bursa Governor Erol Ayyıldız said that fairs are important organizations that add value to Bursa. Stating that he believes that these works will turn Bursa into a "city of fairs", Ayyıldız thanked BTSO Board Chairman İbrahim Burkay and those who contributed.
