With the decision of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME), a mandatory regulation was made in the public transportation tariffs valid for ESHOT, İZULAŞ, İZDENİZ, Metro-Tram, İZBAN and İZTAŞIT vehicles under the control of ESHOT due to increasing costs. According to the tariff that will be valid as of Saturday, April 12, the full boarding fee has become 25 TL. The teacher tariff and the monthly Student Subscription Card fee have not changed.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) convened with the agenda of updating the price tariff applied in public transportation vehicles. With the unanimous decision, the public transportation fee tariff applied in ESHOT, İZULAŞ, İZTAŞIT, İZDENİZ, Metro, Tram and İZBAN was updated to be valid as of Saturday, April 12. Despite the official inflation figure announced as 38,10 percent and the extraordinary increases in all other economic indicators, a 25 percent increase was made in the full tariff valid in public transportation in the city center. While the full ride fee with İzmirim Card increased to 25 TL, the teacher ride fee of 17,72 TL was kept the same. The ride fee for citizens over the age of 60 was 20 TL, and the student ride fee was 10 TL. There was a 60 percent increase in the 12,87 age tariff, and a 16,55 percent increase in the student tariff. Rides for those 65 and over will continue to be free. No price changes were made to the Student Subscription Card (monthly 100 rides/480 TL) application, which was implemented with the inauguration of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Cemil Tugay.

Within the scope of the 90-Minute Integration System, which was implemented in Izmir after Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Cemil Tugay took office, all transfers made within 90 minutes after the first boarding will continue to be free of charge. In addition, with the Public Transport Application valid between 05.00:07.00-19.00:20.00 and 50:8,86-XNUMX:XNUMX, passengers will be able to travel with a XNUMX percent discount during these hours. The Abonman Kart and Eğitim Destek İzmirim Kart applications aimed at students continue to offer economical transportation opportunities. With the Public Transport discount valid for teachers in the morning and evening hours, the boarding fee drops to XNUMX TL.
Mother Solidarity Card
Another application launched after Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Cemil Tugay took office is the Mother Solidarity Card. Card holders with children between the ages of 0-4 who receive social assistance are offered 60 credits per month, and card holders with children between the ages of 4-5 are offered 10 credits per month for advantageous public transportation services.
