The FINVER project, which was initiated 4 years ago by President Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler in Ordu to increase the income from hazelnut production and to bring idle gardens into the economy, continues where it left off. The hazelnut gardens rented from producers for 5 years are being made more productive with applications carried out under the supervision of agricultural engineers. In this context, ORTAR A.Ş teams carry out maintenance, feeding, spraying, fertilizing, liming, root sucker and Bordeaux mixture works in the hazelnut gardens rented from producers.
GREAT SUCCESS IN 4 YEARS
In the project carried out by Ordu Metropolitan Municipality affiliate company ORTAR A.Ş., agricultural engineers are increasing the yield of hazelnuts by maintaining the gardens rented from citizens outside the province for 5 years. While the yield in the rented gardens increases day by day, the yield per acre has increased by 100 percent between the first period and the time that has passed.
