The organization, which was held with the participation of approximately 600 wrestlers and where the golden belted head wrestlers also took to the field, was the scene of breathtaking competitions. Muratpaşa Municipality wrestler Orhan Okulu won the head wrestler title in the first major wrestling organization of 2025 with his superior performance.
600 Wrestlers Took to the Field
The traditional oil wrestler wrestling in Gazipaşa turned into a great celebration with the participation of approximately 600 wrestlers from all over Türkiye. The fierce competition between experienced names, including the golden belt chief wrestlers, and young talents gave wrestling fans unforgettable moments. The wrestlers, who sweated in the arena, displayed the best examples of the traditional sport.
Orhan School Eliminated Its Opponents One by One
Muratpaşa Municipality's successful chief wrestler Orhan Okulu took the wrestling competitions in Gazipaşa like a storm. Okulu, who gained an advantage over his opponents with the effective games he displayed throughout the tournament, defeated Salih Erinç, Bekir Eryücel, Ali İhsan Batmaz and Özkan Yılmaz respectively and made it to the finals.
Defeated Osman Kan in the Final and Came to the Top
In the highly anticipated final match, Orhan Okulu faced its strong opponent Osman Kan. Okulu maintained its superiority in the fierce competition and defeated its opponent, crowning the first major wrestling organization of 2025 with the golden belt. This victory was recorded as an important success in Orhan Okulu's career, and it also created great joy in the Muratpaşa Municipality wrestling community.
