Following the release of update 1.010 for Monster Hunter Wilds, Capcom announced that they have detected unauthorized and fraudulent data in the game's High Rank missions. In a warning shared on the company's official social media accounts, players are advised to immediately pause the game if they encounter a suspicious or unusual mission. Capcom emphasized that such manipulated data can seriously affect the normal gameplay experience and even cause parts of the game to become completely dysfunctional.

These signs include the absence of monsters that would normally be present in the mission, unusually high item limits, and more than six reward slots in single-target missions.
