Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is hosting another important workshop. In this context, the Metropolitan Municipality, which continues its work with the aim of making Kocaeli a tourism city, will organize the “Kartepe Tourism Workshop” under the coordination of ŞÛRA City Policies and Research Center. The workshop, where important issues that will shape tourism will be brought to the agenda, will be held on Tuesday, April 8 at 09.30:XNUMX at the Kocaeli Congress Center.

“4 SEASONS TOURISM IN THE HEART OF NATURE”

The workshop, which will be organized with the motto of “4 Seasons Tourism in the Heart of Nature”, will address strategies for evaluating Kartepe’s current tourism potential with a sustainable understanding and making the region a center of attraction. Approximately 300 participants, including representatives from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Kocaeli Governorship, Universities, Development Agencies, Sector Representatives and Civil Society Organizations, will exchange ideas at work tables set up around different themes.

THE AIM IS TO CREATE COMMON MIND

The workshop aims to create a common mind on topics such as spatial needs, investment opportunities, sustainability and local entrepreneurship. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tahir Büyükakın and Nezih İşçi, partner of ATC Mountain Tourism Consultants, who has international experience in the field of tourism, will be speakers at the opening program. İşçi will share sample applications and strategic approaches on mountain and nature tourism with the participants. The outputs to be obtained from the workshop will be a guiding guide in Kartepe's spatial development, tourism planning and investment decisions.
