Railway Good News for Siirt in Investment Program

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced at the opening ceremony of the Siirt-Kurtalan road and the Siirt Airport connection road that an important railway project for the region has been included in the investment program. Minister Uraloğlu announced that the Siirt-Kurtalan new railway project has been included in the 2025 investment program with the approval of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Tender Date Announced

Minister Uraloğlu, who stated that the tender for this 34-kilometer-long railway line will be held on May 28, also said that the Yolçatı-Diyarbakır-Kurtalan and Diyarbakır-Mazıdağ lines will be modernized and their speed will be increased to 160 kilometers per hour. These projects will significantly improve the transportation infrastructure of the region.
