Following the earthquakes that occurred in Istanbul and were felt in surrounding provinces, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin made important statements. Minister Tekin stated that there was no serious negativity in schools, but emphasized that security and social needs should be prioritized.
For this reason, it was decided that all schools in Istanbul will be closed on Thursday, April 24 and Friday, April 25. During this process, necessary measures will be taken to ensure the safety of students and teachers. It was also stated that various supports will be provided so that the education community is minimally affected by this difficult period.
