Denizli Metropolitan Municipality will close Çamlık Boulevard to traffic every Sunday between 09.00:19.00 and XNUMX:XNUMX in order to create a more livable city within the framework of a human-oriented city approach.
Closed to traffic for the first time in September 2024 as part of the European Mobility Week final celebrations, which raises awareness about sustainable urban mobility, Çamlık Boulevard will be closed to traffic this Sunday and every Sunday between 09.00:19.00 - XNUMX:XNUMX upon popular demand from citizens. In this context, vehicle traffic will not be allowed between Mimarlar Sokak and the Çamlık Park entrance of Çamlık Boulevard.
“Together, for a more livable, people-oriented Denizli…”
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu announced on his social media account that this practice has been made permanent. Mayor Çavuşoğlu said, “Çamlık Street, one of the most beautiful spots in our city, will be closed to traffic this Sunday and every Sunday between 09.00:19.00 and XNUMX:XNUMX! You can walk, ride your bike, and have a pleasant time with your children and loved ones during these hours. Let's all take a step together for a more livable, human-oriented Denizli.”
