Başkentray, Marmaray and İZBAN are Free on May 1st

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that Başkentray, Marmaray, İZBAN, Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line and Gayrettepe-İstanbul Airport-Arnavutköy Metro Line will provide free service on May 1, Labor and Solidarity Day (tomorrow).

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that according to the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette dated April 26, on May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day (tomorrow), the urban rail system lines affiliated with the Ministry in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir will be free of charge.

Minister Uraloğlu made a statement on the subject and said, “Marmaray, Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line and Gayrettepe-İstanbul Airport-Arnavutköy Metro in Istanbul, Başkentray in Ankara and İZBAN in Izmir will provide free service. These lines will provide fast, easy and economical transportation to all our citizens throughout the day.”
