Antalya Airport hosted a busy passenger traffic in March 2025. According to the data announced by the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ) of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the total number of passengers using the airport in March was recorded as 1 million 78 thousand 360.
High Figures on Domestic and International Flights
While 402 of the passenger traffic in March was on domestic flights, the number of passengers on international flights reached 350. These figures show that Antalya is an important center for both domestic and international travel.
Aircraft and Freight Traffic Also Increased
In addition to the intensity of passenger traffic, the number of planes landing and taking off at Antalya Airport also drew attention. In March, there was a total of 3 plane traffic, 450 on domestic lines and 4 on international lines. The amount of cargo (cargo, mail and baggage) carried in the same period was 763 tons.
Nearly 3 Million Passengers in the First Quarter
The total number of passengers served by Antalya Airport in the January-March period covering the first three months of 2025 reached 2 million 983 thousand 584. The total aircraft traffic during this period was recorded as 23 thousand 53 and the total amount of cargo carried was 33 thousand 606 tons. These data reveal that Antalya Airport has been exhibiting an intense performance since the beginning of the year.
