Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu published a message on the occasion of the 7th anniversary of the opening of Başkentray. Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that Başkentray has an important place in Ankara's urban transportation and drew attention to the project's contributions to the capital.
Comfortable Transportation for 113 Million Passengers
Uraloğlu stated that Başkentray has provided comfortable and safe transportation to 113 million 642 thousand 691 passengers since the day it entered service. The Minister stated that this figure clearly demonstrates the success of the project and how important it is for the people of Ankara. He also said that Başkentray has strengthened Ankara's rail system infrastructure, providing significant momentum to urban transportation and adding strength to the capital's rail power.
