Japan’s famous Tokyu Group is launching a new project to revolutionize transportation infrastructure in Thu Dau Mot. The company plans to launch a feasibility study soon for the implementation of a light rail system in Binh Duong. This metro line will connect to Suoi Tien Station with a double track and will operate at a speed of 120 km/h. The project, which will cost $2.52 billion, will start construction in 2027 and be ready for full operation in 2031.

In addition, the metro line will include 29,01 km of main lines and 3,42 km of depot connections, improving the efficiency of Binh Duong’s transportation system.
