TEI, Türkiye's leading aviation engine company, was awarded the "Supplier of the Year" award at the 2025 Supplier Symposium organized in Cincinnati by GE Aerospace, one of the world's largest aircraft engine manufacturers. TEI, the national engine company, has once again proven its superior success within the global aviation ecosystem with this prestigious award, with its high quality standards, engineering capabilities and on-time deliveries worldwide.
This award is TEI’s third best supplier award in the last 10 years. TEI was previously honored with the “Best Supplier” award by GE Aerospace, SAFRAN and CFM International in Paris in 3 and Shanghai in 2017.
Within the scope of the collaboration with GE Aerospace that has been going on for more than 40 years, TEI is the largest supplier of the world's most widely used civil aviation engine programs such as LEAP, GEnx, GE9X. It is also among the important suppliers for the CFM RISE engine program, which focuses on sustainability in aviation engines.
Today, TEI plays a strategic role in the critical supply chain of the global aerospace industry by producing more than 50 parts and modules for over 2.000 different civil and military engine programs. TEI also makes significant manufacturing contributions to gas turbine engines used in marine and industrial applications as well as aviation engines, and is the world's largest supplier of the LM9000 gas turbine.
TEI continues to have an important position in the global aviation industry with its manufacturing activities, as well as its national aviation engine development projects and international maintenance-repair-overhaul services. TEI, which contributes to Türkiye's national aviation goals with more than 10 domestic and national engine projects developed under the auspices of the Presidency of Defense Industries, aims to continue its growth in national and international markets and develop new collaborations in the coming period.
