Chery Türkiye Completed 2025 After-Sales Technical Expertise Competition

Chery, China's leading automotive brand, continues to focus on customer satisfaction by improving its technical skills.

The 2025 After-Sales Technical Expert Competition organized by Chery Türkiye was successfully held in Istanbul with the theme of “Strengthening with Skills, Inheriting Mastery”. The event brought together 175 technical experts and showcased the deep integration of Chery Türkiye’s technical power and “Chery Always With You” service concept with practical evaluations and innovative challenges. At the end of this event, 3 technical experts from Mersin, Istanbul and Samsun; Halil Emre Afşar, İzzet Halvacı and Onur Gümüş, proved that they were the best by ranking first, second and third respectively. The champion technical expert will represent Türkiye in the Chery Global Technical Expert Competition to be held in Wuhu, China in November and will compete with the best technical experts from all over the world.

The competition focused on the “education through competition” model, focusing on the diagnosis and repair of complex situation scenarios created by the Chery team in hybrid and electric vehicle models. Through practical tests, theoretical evaluations and team collaboration, the technical knowledge, response speed and innovative thinking of the participants were comprehensively evaluated. In addition, great importance was given to safety regulations, operational processes and cleaning management in order to maintain a balance between technical service and professionalism.

From the online pre-selection round to the offline finals, the six finalists went through two days of intense challenges, completing difficult tasks such as vehicle condition diagnosis and technical solution optimization in a digitalized smart workshop. The participants showcased Chery’s deep understanding of advanced technology and efficient application. Halil Emre Afşar, who finished first in the event, said, “The competition is not just about skill, it is also an opportunity to expand our global technical vision. We are looking forward to showcasing the professionalism of the Turkish team on the global stage.”

As an important component of Chery's global service system, the Turkey Technical Expertise competition has demonstrated a vivid example of Chery's "localized service, global quality" strategy with rigorous organizational processes and high-standard technical results. Champion Halil Emre Afşar will represent Türkiye in the 2025 Chery Global Technical Expertise Competition, where he will compete with top-level engineers from around the world, share the latest technology and use innovative thinking to advance smart customer service improvements.
