Turkish Airlines Started Flights to Ohrid in North Macedonia

Turkish Airlines has added Ohrid, one of the important tourism destinations of North Macedonia, to its flight network in Southern Europe. With this destination, Ohrid has become Turkish Airlines’ second flight destination after Skopje in North Macedonia, 123rd in Europe and 353rd worldwide.

Lake Ohrid, one of the richest biodiversity areas in Europe, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979 and became the symbol of the city. In 1980, the whole of Ohrid was taken under UNESCO protection with its historical, cultural texture and natural beauties.

Turkish Airlines has begun operating four-day-a-week reciprocal flights from Istanbul Airport to Ohrid St. Paul Airport. With this new line, Turkish Airlines is strengthening its transportation network in the region and offering its guests more travel options.
