With the works carried out by Ordu Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of the 'Great Melet Project', Melet continues to experience change and transformation. The 3rd Stage works of Melet, which has been appreciated for its first and second stages and visited by dozens of citizens every day, are also nearing completion.
The 3rd Stage of Melet, which was transformed from an idle state into a social living area with the work carried out under the leadership of Mayor Güler, has been completed by 90%. After the completion of the work, the Metropolitan Municipality will further increase the appeal of Melet and the area will be opened to public use with its completely renewed face.
90 PERCENT COMPLETED
Within the scope of the Melet 33rd Stage, which was created in an area of 21 thousand square meters, 700 thousand 11 square meters of which will be green area and 300 thousand 3 square meters of which will be hard ground, 90 percent of the work has been completed.
Within the scope of the works, a walking path, sitting area, fitness area, cafeteria area, children's playground, and parking area were created. Electrical and irrigation systems and installation of lighting poles were completed. 133 trees and shrubs and 40 bushes were planted in the area.
After the urban furniture, playground assembly and landscaping works, the Metropolitan Municipality aims to complete the project in a short time and open it to the use of citizens.
THERE IS NO TRACE OF ITS OLD STATUTE
Ordu Metropolitan Municipality had first completed and opened an area of 8 thousand square meters in Melet. Later, the Metropolitan Municipality, which moved on to the 2nd stage, had brought a very nice social life area to Ordu with the project it implemented in an area of 30 acres. The 1st and 2nd stage works, which were also appreciated by the citizens, had brought vitality to the region. Now, the teams that have come to the end of the 3rd stage works have erased the appearance of Melet as a dump with the investments they have implemented and transformed the area into an area visited by hundreds of citizens every day.
