The arrangement works carried out by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality in order to eliminate the traffic chaos in the Ata Boulevard-75.Yıl Boulevard intersection area continue at full speed.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented many projects to make Bursa a more livable city and to have a more comfortable transportation network, has also started work on Ata Boulevard and 75.Yıl Boulevard after Acemler, which is one of the junction points of urban traffic. There was currently no direction for traffic flow in the eastern part of the junction, which is one of the important transition points of the city, and there was chaos due to the fact that there was vehicle entry from all directions. This situation made it impossible to optimize the signaling system, while causing citizens to lose more time than usual in the junction area.
With the arrangements made by the Transportation Department, the junction connection of Ata Street has been redesigned to be only from the Mudanya Road. The connection of vehicles coming from the Çalı Junction direction to the junction is provided by directing them from the existing zoning roads. While the arrangement ensures that the signaling system at the junction works more efficiently, the one-way application will also allow vehicles to leave the junction as soon as possible. The filling and excavation works of the teams affiliated with the Transportation Department continue at full speed. After the road widening operations, the arrangement works on the road will begin.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey, who said that transportation and traffic are the most important problems of Bursa, stated that they detect the places where traffic is blocked and intervene quickly. Mayor Bozbey, who stated that they aim to relieve traffic by making many investments in transportation, said, “Since there is no guidance at the Ata Avenue connection of the Ata Boulevard-75. Yıl Boulevard junction, there was chaos due to vehicles entering the junction from all directions. We took action as a result of our studies based on scientific data. We redesigned the junction connection of Ata Avenue so that it will only be from the Mudanya Road side. Our aim is to minimize the traffic and transportation problem and provide comfortable and convenient transportation.”
