
The students who won the Short Film Competition titled "Profession and Ethics in the Ahi Concept" organized under the coordination of the General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education of the Ministry of National Education were announced.
The competition was conducted by the Kırşehir National Education Directorate under the coordination of the Ministry of National Education, General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education, and was held in cooperation with Kırşehir Ahi Evran University.
The competition, which was organized for students in vocational and technical secondary education institutions, was held with the aim of ensuring that the students adopt the Ahi mentality, interpret the concepts of profession and morality through cinema, and grow up as individuals who are beneficial to society while having a profession.
Competition process and evaluation
Participants from 13 provinces participated in the competition held between December 27 and February 40.
The short films that won the provincial championship were re-evaluated by the Kırşehir Provincial Evaluation Commission between March 10-14. At the end of this process, the students and their works that won awards across Türkiye were determined.
Students who are successful will receive their awards at a ceremony to be held in Kırşehir.
Award winners
In the Short Film Competition, Emirhan İkiz, a student of Pamukkale Atatürk Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, won first prize with his film "Two Roads".
Kirsehir Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School students Emirhan Cemal Gungor, Firat Agirman, Muhammed Said Aslan and Omer Akbulut were awarded the second prize with their film titled “Altın Bileklik”.
Sudenaz Filizoğlu, Sudenaz Öztürk, Nida Siviloğlu, Ceylin Melisa Bayrak, students of Adnan Menderes Trade Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School from Düzce, won the third place award with their film titled “Miras”.
Rize Merkez Trade Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School student Veysel Baki Biçer was awarded an honorable mention with his film titled “From Tradition to the Future: Ahilik and Crafts”.
