Author İsmail Hakkı İçten met with his readers at the Ditav Culture and Art Center about his new drama novel, "Mebrure".
The novel, which takes place in the Diyarbakır-İstanbul quadrangle, focuses on Diyarbakır's culture, customs and historical reflections. In the interview, an in-depth conversation was held on how Diyarbakır's cultural heritage is processed through literature.
Throughout the event, İçten explained the writing process of the novel, its characters and its place in Diyarbakır's literature. Participants also contributed to the conversation by sharing their own experiences and thoughts on the city's cultural texture.
The program ended with the author signing his books after a question-and-answer session.
