
Mersin Metropolitan Municipality took an important step within the scope of Tarsus (Bus Terminal-Çamlıyayla Road) Rail System Line Project. The tender numbered 4/2025 KİK, for which bids were collected on March 2024, 1697696, continued with the opening of financial envelopes on March 19, 2025. In this project, a rail system line of approximately 8 kilometers will be built, with a total of 9 stations and 1 depot. The project will contribute greatly to the transportation infrastructure of Tarsus and will provide fast and comfortable transportation between the bus station and Çamlıyayla Road.
