Yeniorman Bridge Over Dilsiz Stream Will Be Renewed

Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yusuf Alemdar announced the good news that they will add a new bridge to the construction works.

Mayor Alemdar announced that the Akyazı Yeniorman Bridge will be demolished and a new, modern and strong bridge will be built in its place, and announced that a tender will be held on March 25 and the work will begin.

Stating that the Yeniorman Bridge is very important for regional transportation, Alemdar said that once the structure is put into service, it will provide safe and trouble-free service to the region for many years.

President Yusuf Alemdar, who also included the details of the new bridge project in his statements, said, “We will completely demolish the existing bridge that is deformed and does not meet the needs, and build a new bridge with a length of 47 meters and a width of 16 meters. There will also be 48 bored piles of different diameters for safe transportation. After the construction process of our new two-span bridge, the transportation safety in the region will be maximized with the completion of our work on the bridge.”

We are addressing transportation from a holistic perspective with the metrobus line road, rail system project, new streets added to the city and asphalt works that continue uninterruptedly in 16 districts, and we are taking determined steps for our goal of ‘Sakarya Time for Transportation’.
