Metro Istanbul, Taksim and Şişhane stations of Yenikapı-Hacıosman metro line and Taksim-Kabataş announced the opening of the funicular line.
Some stops on the Yenikapı-Hacıosman metro line were closed to service. In a statement made on Metro Istanbul's social media account, it was stated that the stations were reopened to traffic.
The statement included the following statements: “M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line Taksim station, Şişhane station and F1 Taksim-Kabataş The Funicular Line has been put into operation.”
In the statement made last night, “In line with the decision taken by the Istanbul Governorship, until further notice, our M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line will be closed to Taksim Station, Şişhane Station and F1 Taksim-Kabataş "Our Funicular Line will be closed to operation. Our vehicles will continue their services without stopping at Taksim and Şişhane stations."
