Oil Production in Gabar Reaches 80 Thousand Barrels

Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar announced that oil production in Şırnak Gabar reached 80 thousand barrels.

Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Bayraktar announced at the iftar organized by the Turkish Youth Foundation (TÜGVA) that the gas needs of 3 million households are met with the daily production from the Sakarya Gas Field.

Pointing out that 80 thousand barrels of oil were produced in Gabar today, Minister Bayraktar said, “Our production has increased approximately 2016 times since 3.”

Minister Bayraktar announced that they have entered a new phase in oil and natural gas exploration and will start exploration first in Diyarbakır and then in the Thrace region.
