Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yusuf Alemdar examined the ongoing transportation projects in Karasu on site. First, Mayor Alemdar, who received information about the latest status of the road works carried out for transportation between Darıçayırı and Paralı neighborhoods together with Karasu Mayor İshak Sarı and deputy mayors, then examined the infrastructure, superstructure, road widening and intersection arrangement works carried out on İstiklal Street.
Infrastructure is being prepared
In the work that will connect Darıçayırı and Paralı Neighborhoods, the asphalt works will be carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality after the infrastructure works carried out by Karasu Municipality.
Uninterrupted transport
Mayor Alemdar, who examined the alternative group road on site, said, “With the alternative group road project, which has been on the agenda of the local people for a long time, we are bringing safe and comfortable transportation to Karasu together with our district municipality. We will offer uninterrupted transportation to the local people by providing an alternative transportation to the group road, which poses a danger in adverse weather conditions.”

Continuing his visits, Mayor Alemdar said, “We saw the infrastructure, superstructure, road widening and intersection arrangement works carried out on İstiklal Street, one of the old entrances and exits of our beautiful district Karasu. Our Karasu Mayor İshak Sarı is carrying out a beautiful work. He is bringing a new entrance to the district. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we will do our part in the intersection arrangement. We will make our tourism district Karasu more beautiful with the service approach without distinguishing between metropolitan and district municipalities.”
