
The Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) has determined new parking areas and hop-on/hop-off points for tour vehicles coming to our city. In line with the decision made to provide safer, more comfortable and more efficient transportation for tourists coming to visit Eskişehir with tour vehicles, new information signs have been hung in the designated areas.
Eskişehir, which hosts millions of local and foreign tourists every year, has determined new parking areas and hop-on/hop-off areas so that tour vehicles can move more easily and not block other vehicles in traffic. Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality has hung signs in the new locations and warned tour vehicles.
In a statement made by the Metropolitan Municipality on the subject, the parking areas for tour buses were determined as “Kemal Zeytinoğlu Street, opposite Kaplanlar Street (30 vehicles), Sivrihisar-2nd Street Kentpark Cep (3 vehicles), Zübeyde Hanım Boulevard between Yardım Street and Övünme Street (3 vehicles), Eti Street, between Görenek Street and Yılmaz Street (2 vehicles), Sivrihisar-2nd Street next to Kentpark Konakları (3 vehicles), Atatürk Boulevard, in front of Eti Archeology Museum (3 vehicles).”
The streets where tour vehicles can pick up and drop off in 10 minutes are as follows: “On Martyr Captain Tuncer Güngör Street in front of Avlu Eskişehir (2 vehicles), on Atatürk Boulevard ahead of Odunpazarı Modern Museum (2 vehicles), on Yunus Emre Street before Salhane Bridge (1 vehicle).”
Tour vehicles will be able to drop off and pick up tourists in front of Migros on Atatürk Boulevard between 00.00:05.00 and XNUMX:XNUMX at night.
