With Home Care Assistance, we support the preservation and strengthening of family unity by living with their families or relatives without leaving the environment where disabled people live.”

Emphasizing that citizens who take care of their dependent relatives in need of care are supported with Home Care Assistance and thus family integrity is protected, Göktaş reminded that an average of 543 thousand citizens benefit from Home Care Assistance monthly and a monthly payment of 10 thousand 125 lira is made per beneficiary.

Minister Goktas noted the following:

“We deposited a total of 5,4 billion liras of Home Care Assistance into accounts this month for fully dependent citizens and their families who are cared for at home. I hope that the payments will be beneficial to all our disabled citizens and their families. As the Ministry, we will continue our work to ensure that rights-based social assistance in the field of disability is sustainable with a transparent understanding.”
