In line with the goal of covering the city with railway networks, the transportation network is being expanded with new tram lines. Konya's Rail Transportation Network to Reach 110 Kilometers
A comprehensive transportation plan has been created to expand the existing tram lines in Konya. The total length of the rail system is aimed to reach 2029 kilometers by 110. With the new projects, the three central districts will be connected by rail and citizens will have a more comfortable and faster transportation opportunity.
Connection to the Industrial Zone is Provided
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that they aim to connect important points of the city with a rail system.
