Kayseri Culinary Arts Center to Support Local Gastronomy

The Culinary Arts Center, a special project of the Metropolitan Municipality, will contribute to both tourism and local gastronomy by introducing the rich culinary culture of Kayseri.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç inspected the Culinary Arts Center, which will be an important project in the field of gastronomy, and received information about the latest situation.

The Metropolitan Municipality, led by Mayor Büyükkılıç, which has added Kayseri Cuisine to the UNESCO Turkey National Commission Creative Cities Network National List, is nearing completion on an important project that will carry Kayseri even further in the national and international arena in the field of gastronomy. The construction of the Culinary Arts Center, built in the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan National Garden to promote Kayseri's rich culinary culture, has reached completion.

Mayor Büyükkılıç, together with AK Party Kayseri Provincial Chairman Hüseyin Okandan, examined the construction work of the center on site. Mayor Büyükkılıç, who visited the sections under construction in the center, received information about the latest situation from Murat Baltacı, Head of the Department of Studies and Projects, and Salih Özgöncü, Head of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs.

Büyükkılıç stated that Recep Tayyip Erdoğan National Garden is a favorite place of the people of Kayseri and said, “We are rapidly implementing our vision projects in the field of gastronomy along with the social facilities built here.”

Stating that the Culinary Arts Center will introduce Kayseri's culinary culture and add value to the city in both cultural and touristic terms, Mayor Büyükkılıç noted that with this project, they aim to increase the tourism potential by introducing Kayseri's cuisine to the world.

AK Party Kayseri Provincial Chairman Hüseyin Okandan also expressed his appreciation for the project and said, “It will be a truly magnificent project. I would like to thank our Chairman for these valuable investments. It is a great gain for our city that he has signed this project that will introduce Kayseri cuisine to the world.”

Once completed, the Culinary Arts Center will make a significant contribution to gastronomy tourism.
