The Ministry of National Education has opened the “Arada 29” magazine, enriched with digital content, for primary and secondary school students to have a fun and productive time with their families during the mid-term break between March 6 and April 1.
The “Arada 1” magazines prepared by the General Directorate of Basic Education offered suggestions for families to spend quality time with their children during the mid-term break between March 29 and April 6.
The games in the magazines aim to support students' concentration, strategy development, problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
“In Between 1” emphasizes the importance of the family structure that feeds from the roots and sheds light on the future, with content that reflects traditions, national and cultural values, and the joy and enthusiasm of the Ramadan Feast.
Additionally, Turkish and English songs were composed to develop values such as empathy, awareness and respect for individual differences.
The magazine also included activities that improve students' reading and comprehension skills, as well as content specific to the month of Ramadan, such as Ramadan rhymes and riddles.
