Hitit continues its growth on the continent as the second largest technology company in Europe in the field of airline reservation systems. Italy-based airline SkyAlps chose Hitit to develop, improve its operations and implement its digital transformation. Following the system transition on January 17, 2025, SkyAlps, which continues its operations with Hitit technology, will be able to manage passenger service system processes more efficiently and offer a superior travel experience to its passengers in all sales channels.
SkyAlps has partnered with Hitit, the second largest airline reservation systems provider in Europe and Africa, to begin operations using Hitit’s technology. Headquartered at Bolzano Airport in the South Tyrol region of Italy, SkyAlps is a subsidiary of Fri-El Green Power, a company specializing in renewable energy.
As of March 17, SkyAlps has switched to Hitit’s cloud-based solutions for critical airline processes such as reservations, ticketing, check-in, flight operations and dynamic pricing. With a fleet of 8 aircraft serving more than 20 destinations in Europe, SkyAlps will leverage Hitit’s innovative technologies to increase efficiency, reduce operational costs and improve the passenger experience. The flexible and scalable system not only supports future growth, but also enables strategic collaborations with other airlines, paving the way for new partnerships and an expanded connectivity network.
Hitit General Manager Nevra Onursal Karaağaç emphasized the importance of this partnership in Hitit’s strategy to expand into Europe and said: “SkyAlps has been an exciting project for us as our first Partner airline in Italy.
