Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey broke his fast with hundreds of citizens at the iftar program in Yenişehir. Mayor Bozbey announced that they will bring a similar Agricultural Plast Factory to the one they brought to Mustafakemalpaşa district and that they will provide liquid fertilizer support to farmers, and said, “As long as you take care of your land. The Metropolitan Municipality will continue to be with the people of Yenişehir.”
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which keeps the unifying and spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan alive with programs organized at different points of the city, continued its traditional iftar programs in Yenişehir district. Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey, CHP Provincial Chairman Nihat Yeşiltaş, Yenişehir Mayor Ercan Özel, Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Mehmet Emin Direkçi, mukhtars, municipal council members and citizens attended the iftar program in Yenişehir Covered Market Area. In the iftar program, where enjoyable moments were experienced with the mini concert given by the artists of the Orchestra Branch Directorate, citizens broke their fast together with the evening call to prayer.
Liquid fertilizer factory in Yenişehir
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey reminded that the month of Ramadan is the month of solidarity and sharing. Stating that the Metropolitan Municipality organizes an iftar program in a district every evening, Mayor Bozbey said, “We share iftar tables together in 17 of our districts. Yenişehir is very valuable with its people, plains and soil. We will continue to bring services that will make everyone smile to Yenişehir. As in all of our districts, our goal in Yenişehir is to build a city where people live in peace and look to the future with confidence. It is our responsibility to hold the hands of our brothers and sisters who are engaged in farming and animal husbandry in Yenişehir and to be by their side. The future is in the soil and Yenişehir's soil is truly golden. Please take care of your soil. Plant all of your arable land. We will continue to provide support as the Metropolitan Municipality. We have put the Tarım Plast Factory and liquid fertilizer factory producing drip pipes into service in Mustafakemalpaşa. We will support our producers by establishing a liquid fertilizer factory in Yenişehir district and distribute liquid fertilizer. All you have to do is take care of your soil. “The Metropolitan Municipality will continue to stand by the people of Yenişehir,” he said.
CHP Provincial Chairman Nihat Yeşiltaş thanked Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey for bringing the people of Yenişehir together at iftar tables and wished that the month of Ramadan would bring peace to the entire country.
Yenişehir Mayor Ercan Özel stated that the iftar meals held together during Ramadan ensure unity and solidarity and strengthen the feelings of brotherhood, and thanked Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey for the iftar program.
Following the speeches, the Karagöz shadow play was performed by Hayali Hasan Mert Karakaş. After the tarawih prayer, Mayor Mustafa Bozbey met with the citizens at the Hatuniye Mosque and offered them sweets.
