France: No Peace Forces in Ukraine Without Ceasefire

French senator Ronan Le Gleut told the BBC’s 5 Live Breakfast programme that France would not send “any” peacekeepers to Ukraine without a guaranteed ceasefire first. The UK has advocated a similar policy.

Ronan Le Gleut added that European troops should only be on the “second line”.

Meanwhile, the expert noted that the European Union has increased its investment in unmanned aerial vehicles, artificial intelligence and cyber warfare to accelerate military mobility, adding that the “security architecture” in Europe has changed due to the “threat” posed by Russia.
