Mayor Yalım Announced the Good News that Electric Buses, One of His Election Promises, Are Now Ready for Service. Uşak Mayor Özkan Yalım, who has undertaken important projects for the development and progress of the city since the day he took office, is happy to fulfill another promise he made to his fellow Uşak residents. Stating that free transportation service with electric buses will start very soon, Mayor Yalım noted that they continue their work without slowing down with their love for the country.
WE STAND BEHIND OUR WORD
Noting that one of the indicators of a developed city is transportation, Mayor Yalım said, “Today is a big day for Uşak. Many of our citizens were hesitant and anxious about the introduction of electric buses. However, if we make a promise, we will definitely fulfill it. Right now, we have 5 articulated buses, each with a capacity of 170 people, waiting ready in our garage. We have put black plates on all of them and these vehicles, as the property of the Uşak Municipality, will start serving our people in the coming days.”
GOOD LUCK TO THE PEOPLE OF UŞAK
Expressing that all citizens are very valuable to them and that they carry out their projects and services by considering their needs, Mayor Yalım said; “We will provide this service free of charge for our students who will provide transportation to the university and for our citizens who will go to the hospital from Kemalöz, Cumhuriyet, Dikilitaş, Karaağaç, Aybey, Elmalıdere Neighborhoods.” Emphasizing that the latest technology and fully electric environmentally friendly vehicles will raise the city to a level befitting it, Mayor Yalım wished that this service would be beneficial to all the people of Uşak.
OUR LOVE IS UŞAK
After his statements, Mayor Yalım got into one of the electric and articulated vehicles and took a test drive on the main arteries of the city.
Yalım, who was met with great interest from citizens in traffic, said, "We are sincerely attached to this city. We always put people first," and explained that they carry out citizen-oriented projects.
Mayor Yalım, who emphasized that they have carried out many projects in terms of social municipality and that this service is one of them, said, “We will continue to work with all our strength so that our citizens do not suffer and our students do not have difficulty. Because our love is Uşak!”
