Within the scope of the arrangements made to increase travel comfort at the Alsancak Station in Izmir, a series of works will be carried out by TCDD (Republic Railways). These works will lead to changes in some train services.
Delayed Trips and New Routes
On Saturday, March 22 and Tuesday, March 25, after 22.45:XNUMX, southbound trains will continue from Halkapınar to Kemer without entering Alsancak Station. Similarly, northbound trains will be directed from Kemer to Halkapınar without stopping at Hilal and Alsancak Stations. These changes will require passengers to use alternative routes during the hours when the work is carried out.
Ring Services and Transfer Points
During the works, ring services will be organized between Alsancak-Hilal-Kemer. These ring services offer an important solution to ensure that passengers can easily pass between stations. At Hilal Station, Izmir Metro will be connected, and at Kemer Station, trains will be able to transfer north and south.
Night Travel Arrangements
Due to the revisions to be made between 23:24-27:28 on Sunday, March 23.30 and Monday, March 05.30, Thursday, March XNUMX and Friday, March XNUMX, trains coming from both directions will transfer their passengers at Alsancak Station and return to their destination. These changes in the time zone indicate that passengers should pay attention to the departure times.
